The City of Tyler Police Department wants to remind the community that it is a violation of a City of Tyler ordinance to detonate fireworks inside the city limits. It could result in a citation and the seizure of the fireworks.
Discharging a firearm inside the city limits of Tyler is illegal. Celebratory gunfire could injure someone or worse.
There are multiple approved fireworks shows around Tyler to enjoy. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
