The District Attorney liaison will serve as the liaison between the Police Department and the District Attorney’s office, notifying department personnel of court subpoenas and trial dates. The liaison will receive case presentation packets from Patrol officers and review them to ensure they are complete in accordance with the District Attorney's Office criteria.

The liaison will acquire photos, evidentiary documentation, 911 recordings, etc., to provide for each patrol arrest case presentation packet. Case packets will be delivered to the District Attorney’s office for filing, and a logbook will be maintained indicating the dates the cases were filed.
