The Criminal Investigations Division is under the supervision of Lieutenant Mike Malone.  The Investigations Division of the Tyler Police Department is dedicated to solving crimes. This is done by going to crime scenes, interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects, and by reviewing evidence. In order to better serve the public the Investigations Division is divided into 'crime specific' units.
