Assistant Chief Paula Riggle is assigned as the Accreditation Manager for the Tyler Police Department. Detective John Ragland is assigned as the assistant to the Accreditation Manager who will be responsible to the Chief of Police for:

• Coordinating, achieving, and maintaining accredited status.
• Maintaining and updating the General, Special, and Operational Orders of the Department.
• Conducting inspections of operational components to ensure policy compliance.
• Preparing reports, audits, inspections, and other documentation as required.
• Coordination, maintenance, and submitting of reports for departmental grants.
• Performing other related duties as specified by the Chief.
